Modular Dynamics 365 + Azure platform for water utilities. Six independent modules. No black box. No lock-in. Pick what you need — own everything we build.
MaxWater is Veriland's modular platform for water utility operations, built on Microsoft Dynamics 365 and Azure. It provides six independent modules — each addressing a specific operational domain — that can be adopted individually or together.
Every module comes with pre-built data models, process flows, Azure integrations, Power BI dashboards, and documentation specific to UK water utilities. But MaxWater is not a black box. It is Dynamics 365 and Azure, configured and extended for water — fully documented, fully portable, and entirely yours to own.
Six independent modules. Adopt one or all. No forced bundling, no big-bang rollout required.
All code, configurations, and data models are documented and visible. No proprietary middleware hiding behind the scenes.
Built on standard Microsoft technologies. Full architecture documentation for partner portability. You own everything.
Dynamics 365 F&O, Field Service, Azure IoT Hub, Fabric, Power Platform — the full Microsoft stack, purpose-configured for water.
End-to-end revenue management from meter reading to cash collection, built for the complexity of UK water billing.
Centralised management of every asset in your network — from pipe sections and pumping stations to treatment works and reservoirs.
Bridge the gap between operational technology and enterprise systems with real-time telemetry processing on Azure.
Optimise your field workforce with intelligent scheduling, mobile-first tools, and end-to-end work order management.
Automated, auditable regulatory reporting aligned to Ofwat performance frameworks and PR24 requirements.
Manage multi-year AMP capital programmes with structured governance, auditability, and real-time budget visibility.
MaxWater is not a separate product — it is Dynamics 365 and Azure, configured and extended using standard Microsoft patterns. Here is what sits underneath:
Dynamics 365 Finance & Operations for core financials, asset management, and project accounting. D365 Field Service for workforce management. Power Apps for custom frontends.
Azure Integration Services (Logic Apps, Service Bus, API Management) for system-to-system connectivity with SCADA, billing, GIS, and third-party platforms.
Azure IoT Hub for telemetry ingestion, Event Hubs for streaming, Data Lake for storage, Fabric for analytics, and Azure ML for predictive models.
Power BI dashboards for operational, regulatory, and executive reporting. Embedded analytics in D365 and Power Apps for contextual insights.
MaxWater is a modular set of water-industry accelerators built on top of Microsoft Dynamics 365 and Azure. Each module provides pre-configured data models, process flows, integrations, dashboards, and reporting tailored to a specific area of water utility operations. It is not a separate product — it is Dynamics 365 configured and extended for water.
No. MaxWater is built entirely on standard Microsoft technologies. All code, configurations, data models, and integrations are fully documented and portable. You own everything. There is no proprietary middleware, no encrypted IP, and no dependency on Veriland to run the system.
No. Each module is self-contained with clean, documented interfaces to the others. Start with one module, prove the value, and expand incrementally. Many clients begin with Asset Lifecycle or Meter-to-Cash and add Regulatory Reporting and SCADA Integration later.
MaxWater uses Azure Integration Services (Logic Apps, Service Bus, API Management) to connect with existing operational systems. The SCADA module specifically uses Azure IoT Hub and Event Hubs to ingest telemetry from any SCADA or PLC that supports MQTT, OPC-UA, or REST. Billing integration is bidirectional, syncing meter data, tariff calculations, and payment records with your existing billing platform.
A single module takes 8 to 14 weeks from discovery to go-live. Multi-module rollouts are phased over 6 to 12 months, deploying one module at a time to minimise disruption. We always start with the highest-value area — typically identified during a 2-week discovery engagement.
Yes. The underlying Dynamics 365 and Azure architecture is designed for enterprise scale. Azure IoT Hub processes millions of telemetry events per second. Dynamics 365 Finance & Operations handles the transactional volumes of the largest UK water and sewerage undertakers. We right-size the deployment to match your scale.
Veriland offers multi-year managed services covering application support, regulatory change management, performance optimisation, and continuous improvement. We can also provide training and handover if you prefer to bring support in-house over time.
Most water-industry solutions are either monolithic products (black-box, locked-in) or bespoke builds (slow, expensive, hard to maintain). MaxWater offers a third way: modular, repeatable IP built on a platform you already know (Microsoft), with full transparency and no lock-in. You get the speed of an accelerator with the flexibility of a custom build.

H2O America partnered with Veriland to unify fragmented operational data and deploy AI-driven predictive maintenance — reducing unplanned outages by 40%, cutting alert noise by 5x, and transforming asset reliability across critical water infrastructure.

Veriland built a production property search platform for a UK water utility processing 4,000+ orders per month — then rebuilt it from scratch as VeriConvey, an AI-native SaaS product bringing agentic automation to the entire UK conveyancing industry.

Wessex Water replaced 20+ fragmented legacy systems with a unified Dynamics 365 and Azure platform, centralising asset management, field operations, and compliance across 800+ users.
